Mary 'Sid' (Aikins) Roth, 79, of Portsmouth, died Monday, August 13, 2012 at Clipper Harbor of Portsmouth.
She was born on May 27, 1933, in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Aubrey C. and Liliane (Lamb) Aikins.
Mary was a Communicant of Corpus Christi Parish — St. Catherine of Siena Church in Portsmouth.
She was previously employed at Porteous Department Store in Newington and CVS in Portsmouth.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Robert F. Roth on January 28, 2012.
She is survived by her children, Julie Roth-Faria, Jennifer Roth, Erica Campbell, Jessica Butterfield and Christopher Roth; several grandchildren; her brother, Eugene Aikins and his wife Diane; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thurs, Aug 16 from 6-8pm at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home — Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad St, Portsmouth, N.H. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Aug 17 at 11am, at Corpus Christi Parish — St. Catherine of Siena Church, 845 Woodbury Ave., Portsmouth, NH.
