She was born March 20, 1913, in Fostoria, to the late Charles F. and Theresa (Emerine) Bangert. On Sept. 2, 1946, in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, she married Louis A. Schreiner. He died May 18, 1970.
She is survived by three daughters, eight grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith A. Vest; four brothers, Joseph, Orlo, Wilfred and Carl Bangert; and two sisters, Grace A. Schreiner and Mary True.
Mrs. Schreiner was a 1932 graduate of St. Wendelin High School and a 1935 graduate of Betty Jean Beauty Academy of Fort Wayne, Ind. She was a retired beautician. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Society for 60 years. She was a member of the Secular Franciscans since 1956, where she served as treasurer, president and minister. She was a member of the Legion of Mary for 15 years, was a member of the Daughters of Isabella for 35 years, served as regent, then as past regent for 20 years. She also served as president and treasurer of the Mary Help Society and was a member of the Bible Study Group.
