Clinton was a retired signalman on the Lackawanna Railroad. At the time of his death, he was survived by five daughters, Mrs. Leon Luscomb, Harpursville; Mrs. DeForrest Roe and Mrs. Morris Roe, both of Highland Falls, NY, Mrs. Arlie Smith, Vestal, and Mrs. John Pischone, Utica; a sister, Mrs. Doris Warner, Hallstead, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a nephew and one niece.

Funeral held at Tuttle Funeral Home in Hallstead, Pa., with the Reverend Earl F. Grebey, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Hallstead, officiating.

Clinton was 79 years old.
