GASTONIA ~ Rev. Ray W. England, 91, was a son of the late Luther and Lena England. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 68 years, Gladys Davis England; brothers, Bill and Gene England; sister, Dot Baldwin and step-grandchild, Jamie Camp.
He was a member of Westview Baptist Church. He retired from Firestone Mill after 19 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during WWII. Ray was a former pastor of Bingham Baptist Church before retiring as a pastor for Fraley Memorial Baptist Church.
Interment in Hollywood Cemetery.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
