MATTOON — Jeffrey A. "Jeff" Legner, 53, of Mattoon, formerly of Streator, died at 12:15 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at his residence.
A celebration of life will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 21, in the backyard of his residence, 46 Apple Court, Mattoon. Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola assisted the family.
Mr. Legner was born July 13, 1960, in Streator, a son of Vernon "Clem" and Georgia (Price) Legner. He married Barbara (Kramer) Harris in 2001. She survives.
Other survivors include his parents, of Streator; one stepson, Michael Harris, of Charleston; one stepdaughter, Paulina Chavez, of Charleston; one brother, Troy Legner, of South Carolina; one sister, Susan Bellis, of Georgia; and eight stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one stepson.
