Mrs. Clare Mary Cobb nee Janski, 62, wife of O. J. Cobb, died in Billings of an extended illness Thursday morning. She was born on Oct. 29, 1906 to Casper and Mary (Schelonka) Janski at St. Cloud, Minn. After graduating from high school, she moved to Bismarck, N.D. where she entered nurse's training. After completing nursing training in 1926, she moved to Billings where she worked for various doctors. She was married to O. J. Cobb Sept. 27, 1938 at Miles City. They lived in Billings until 1942 when they moved to Portland, Ore., where she was employed the Good Samaritan Hospital until 1945. They returned to Billings in 1945. In 1948 she was employed in the Yellowstone County Treasurer's office until 1962. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the St. Cecelia Circle. She is survived by the widower; a brother, Paul Janski of Emporia, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Schlichting of Royalton, Minn., Mrs. R. J. Delaria of St. Cloud, Minn., and Miss Regina Janski, St. Cloud, Minn. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. The body will be taken Saturday to St. Cloud, Minn, where requiem mass will be offered. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery at St. Cloud.
