Placido John Gonzales, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, May 27, 2005. He was born April 14, 1930, in New Mexico. Placido retired after 20 years of service with the U.S. Air Force. He also retired after 20 years of service as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service.
Placido is survived by his sisters, Virginia Placencia, Carmen Chavez, Mary Helen Sackett and Eva Ulivarri; many nieces and nephews; daughter, Freda Gonzalez; grandson, Daniel Gonzalez; granddaughter, Amy Loucks; and three great-grandchildren.
No services are scheduled. Arrangements were handled by Bunkers Mortuary.
