Wife of Eugene J. Adams. Married July 29, 1942.∼Velta R. Adams, 79, of Rantoul, Illinois, formerly of Fisher, Illinois, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday (Jan. 14, 2013) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, Illinois.
She was born Nov. 14, 1933 in Waynesburg, Ky. to Garfield and Thelma Warren May. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, four sisters and three grandchildren. She married Eugene Adams on July 29, 1949 in Farmer City, Illinois. He survives.
Also surviving are five sons, David (Sandy) Adams, Thomas (Pamela) Adams, John (Linda) Adams, James (Debra) Adams and William Adams; four daughters, Deborah Adams, Julia (Kenny) Rolson, Angela (Joel) Martin and RoseMary (Jadon) Evans; four brothers; a sister; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
