Bobby Darrell Hazel, 78, passed away on November 17, 2012 at his home. He was born in Laurens, SC to the late Frank Godfrey and Lucia Marie Owens Hazel. He served in the US Army and was a member of Mauldin Empire Lodge #213. He was retired from the US Postal Service after 28 years of service.

Darrell is survived by his wife of 53 years, his daughter, a brother, and his beloved granddaughters. He was predeceased by his son, Alan Darrell Hazel and a brother, Robert Earl Hazel. (Since his death, his brother Charles Hazel has passed away as well.)

He was interred with full military honors at Greenville Memorial Gardens, beside his son Alan and just down from his brother Charles.

Darrell was a gentle man and a gentleman.....
