NEWPORT NEWS - Mrs. Margaret M. Stigberg, 70, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1997, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Hampton. Margaret will be remembered as a loving sister, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Charles R. Stigberg of Chester; daughter, Alonna L. Bulluss of Hampton; a brother, Fred M. Kautz Jr.; sisters, Ann Culler, Nellie Wilkerson, Elaine Chew, Marie Truitt and Elsie Carroll; grandchildren, Lacy Leigh Stigberg and Charles R. Stigberg II of Chester and Michael Bulluss of York County; and one sister-in-law, Viola Stigberg.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be conducted on Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Judson Shackleford in Parklawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Suite 106-A, 303 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Va. 23666.
