In 1929, John established his practice on North Main Street in Wallingford, Connecticut. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church and the Holy Name Society of that church; the Knights of Columbus, Pinta Council Nbr. 5; John Barry Assembly, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus; the Moose Club, Wallingford Lodge of Elks, Amity Club of New Haven, Libero Pensiero Society, Nolinaro Roccio Veterans Post, Shaw Sinon Legion Post and was the first president of the Wallingford Lions Club and East Man's Club. Professionally, he was on the staff of the Memorial Hospital, St. Raphael's Hospital, New Haven County Association of General Practice, Connecticut State Medical Society, New Haven County Medical Society, Meriden Medical Society, the American Academy of General Practice, the Connecticut Allergy Society, and was a State Police Surgeon.
