She met him at a West Point prom and they married shortly after his graduation.
On Tuesday, August 20, 1912 as Ethelyn Cramer, she married Lieut. Rudolph Charles Kuldell of the United States Engineering Corps in the Methodist Church at Portland, Connecticut. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A.R. Kuldell, father of the bridegroom assisted by Rev. M.F. Stocking, the bride's pastor.
