Celebration of Life services for Ethel May Burns Wilkins, 92, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Mansfield with Reverend Thumper Miller and Reverend Joe Waggoner officiating. Interment will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 on the grounds of Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado, AR under the direction of Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel.

The family would like to welcome guests for visitation Friday, June 13, 2014 from the hours of 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Mansfield Chapel.

Mrs. Wilkins was born July 9, 1921 in Monroe, LA to the late Augustus Garfield and Ethel May Bramley Burns and was called to dance with the angels on June 10, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She enjoyed praising GOD with her Esther Sunday School Class. Mrs. Wilkins was a member of DeSoto's Women Dept. Club and DeSoto General Hospital Auxiliary. She was an avid Bridge Player always taking pleasure in winning big. Mrs. Wilkins will be missed by those who have loved her.

Mrs. Wilkins was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Hayes Wilkins, one brother, Samuel A. Burns and wife Nell Burns.

Left to cherish all the precious memories of Mrs. Wilkins will be her beloved husband of 63 years, Hayes Wilkins; one daughter, Melissa Wilkins and Fiancé Jodee Nall; two nephews: Edmond Burns and wife Carla and Douglas Burns and wife Daphne along with numerous extended family members and many wonderful friends.

Honoring Mrs. Wilkins as pallbearers will be Christopher Burns, Cody Burns, George "Brud" Bass, Donny Smith, Roy Bridges, Donny Dufour, Reggie Speights and Jerry Nash.

Memorials to honor Mrs. Ethel Wilkins may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children®, Office of Development 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
