After the war, he returned in 1946 to Rose Polytechnic and was reunited with a childhood friend, Mary Louise Taylor, who was graduating from the School of Nursing in Terre Haute. The two were married Oct. 10, 1947, and were later blessed with two children, Jim and Linda.

Warren graduated from RPI in 1948 with a BSME in Plastics Engineering. He spent his entire 37-year career with US Rubber/UNIROYAL, Inc. and traveled throughout Europe, Russia and Southeastern Asia for the company. He held various positions during his career from Plant Engineer to Corporate Commercial Development.
