Funeral services were held Tuesday, at 2 p.m. at the White Oak Pond Church, the Rev. Henry King officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery, under the direction of the Palmer Funeral home. The six sons were the pallbearers.
Mrs. Jones was born January 7, 1872, and spent her life in Laclede County. She professed faith in Christ and was baptized at an early age. She was married to W S Jones, who preceded her in death fourteen years ago.
Of the eleven children bom of this marriage, three preceded her in death. Robert, Earl and Ivory. Those surviving are; Orville, of Tekamah, Nebraska, Lee, Fred, Sam, and Clarence of Orla, Ray and Mrs. Lottie Goans of Lebanon; Mrs. Grace Barr, of Chicago, Illinois All were at her bedside when the end came. Thirteen grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
