BETHANY- Aug. 2 Isaac Mathias Standard Oil man of Bethany died suddenly in his home in Bethany Thursday. He was stricken Thursday while working at Standard Oil plant in Bethany. He was found by I.C. flagman who was attracted by moans. Mr. Mathias was moved to his home and Dr. Coffey was called but he died at his home.
He leaves his widow and two children, Evelyn,Elizabeth,mother,Mrs.Ed Mathias of Tower Hill,5 brothers,C.L.,Middletown,Ky,A.E. Moweaqua,Brent of Pana, Fred,Tower Hill,sisters,Mrs.John Hulman of Findlay,Elizabeth Mathias of Tower HIll.
He was born near Moweaqua, in 1883.Hewas a member of Bethany Masonic and k of P lodges,being an active worker in both lodges.
Funeral services will be at the Bethany Baptist church with burial IOOF cemetery near Moweaqua.
