He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Laurel Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Earl F. Audet Jr.
His survivors include his wife, Frieda Audet; daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Larry Cole and Kimberly and Jeffrey Newhard, both of Independence, MO; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Ruth Fillee of Potter, NE; and sister-in-law, Betty Audet of Independence, MO.
Services will be Thursday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Interment will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
