Larry Allen Barnes, Sr., passed away August 28, 2021. He was 80 years old. Larry was born in Macon, Ms to his parents, Douglas Jasper Barnes, Sr. and Annie Louise Denton on October 13, 1940. He was an Civil Engineering Technician. Larry and his wife Ruth Behr Barnes used to dress up and reenact the civil war together.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Behr Barnes; parents Douglas Jasper Barnes, Sr. and Annie Louise Denton; son Larry Allen Barnes, Jr.; and daughter Amanda Barnes McCool.
He is survived by his daughter, Jolee Ming; grandchildren Daphyne Keathley, Anna Ming, Cj Ming and Casey Ming; and one great-grandchildren Amanda Keathley.
A funeral service will be held at the Greenlawn Garden Cemetery September 2, 2021 at 10:00a.m.
