Mrs. Linda Kissam, 69, of 820 Reed Ave., Manitowoc, died Friday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Bruce Huffer will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.

Mrs. Kissam, nee Linda Basken, was born April 2, 1905, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Frieda Bock Basken. She attended Manitowoc schools and was graduated from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary at Chicago and attended Shurtleff College at St. Louis, Mo. She later taught at Hudelson Baptist Home at Wood River, Ill. She was married to James Kissam Dec. 24, 1941, at Indianapolis, Ind., residing at Indianapolis. Her husband preceded her in death in 1972. Mrs. Kissam moved to Manitowoc in 1973. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Dorcas Circle.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. John Swansick, of Minneapolis, Minn.; three nephews, Robert Specht, of Waukesha, Ronald Basken, of Neenah, and Paul Swansick, of Minneapolis; four nieces, Mrs. Roy Newlin and Miss Frieda Specht, of Manitowoc, Mrs. Ruth Van Fossen, of St. Louis, and Mrs. Marie Benson, of Ponta Gorda, Fla. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call at First Baptist Church from noon Monday until the time of service. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church. Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
