Christine Kleppe, 3, of 2412 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Friday.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Hime, Manitowoc, and at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, where a Mass of Angels will be held. The Rev. Thaddeus J. Koszarek will officiate with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Manitowoc.

Christine was born Dec. 29, 1970, daughter of Terry and Nancy Maccoux Kleppe.

Survivors include her parents; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Kleppe, of Manitowoc; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Maccoux, of Green Bay; and maternal great grandmother, Mrs. Emily Maccoux, of Green Bay.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Pfeffer Funeral Home.

3-Year-Old Girl Dies In Crash
A three year old Manitowoc girl died Friday morning of internal injuries sustained in a two-car headon crash on Highway 141 about 2 ½ miles north of Cleveland at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Dead is Christine R. Kleppe, who was riding in the front seat of a car driven by her mother, Mrs. Nancy A. Kleppe, 26, of 2412 Marshall St.

The Kleppe car went out of control on a snow and ice-covered portion of 141 about four-tenths of a miles north of County Trunk X.

The Kleppe car crossed over into the opposite lane and collided with a truck proceeding in the opposite direction.

Mrs. Kleppe sustained severe head injuries, and two passengers in the truck, which was driven by Pat M. Higgins, 31, of Muskego, also were injured. They included Robert F. Hering, 31, of Saukville, bloody nose, and James D. Hennes, 20, of Richfield, bruised right leg.

All of the injured were removed to Holy Family Hospital by Manitowoc Ambulance Service. Friday's traffic fatality was the 18th this year, compared to 23 at this time last year.
