Robert D. Litson, was born the son of Melvin and Anna (Poindexter) Litson in Dupont, Indiana.

He was owner and founder of L&R Machine Company in Beech Grove.

Mr. Litson was a member of American Legion Post 119, Moose Lodge of Greenfield, and Community Christian Church in New Palestine. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1948.

Leaving behind his wife, Lucille; daughter, Barbara (Litson) Fugate; and son, Dennis Litson, all of New Palestine.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen (Litson) Pace-Francis.
