MILTON METTEER DIES IN TUCSON, ARIZONA
Milton Metteer, long time resident and business man of Creighton, died at Tucson, Ariz., Sunday morning, March 5. He had been ill for about three weeks and had been in a hospital for one week. Funeral services and burial rites were held at Tucson, Tuesday morning.
Mr. Metteer was born and reared in the Creighton, Nebraska community. After finishing his schooling, he joined his father in the furniture and funeral business. He took over the business after his father's death.
He was forced to leave this part of the country, because of his health. He sold out the business to W.C. Hengstler and Son in September, 1929, going to Tucson shortly after that.
He is survived by his wife; one son and one daughter.
