Alan Eugene Haight, 55, of Albion, passed away Sunday June 15, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 28, 1958 in Albion, Michigan to Lawrence and Ida (Traver) Haight. He was formerly employed at Hayes-Albion in Albion and Nickerson Farms. He was a member of the Albion Free Methodist Church, he was an avid online gamer; he enjoyed the Detroit Tigers, baseball in general and the Detroit Lions. He also liked cars.
He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer (fiancé Jonathan Robbins) Haight, Battle Creek, MI; one brother, David (Shannon) Haight, Albion; three nieces, Amanda, Kayla, and Nichole Haight; one nephew, Daniel Haight. His caregiver Clarissa Graham.
He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous Aunts and Uncles.
According to his wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday June 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Albion Free Methodist Church, 1014 Maple Street, Albion, MI 49224 with Rev. Robert Bolton officiating. Burial of Cremains will be at a later time at Albion Memory Gardens, Albion Township; MI.
The family will receive friends at the Church on Wednesday June 18, 2014 from 10 a.m. until Service Time.
