Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James United Church of Christ, Spring Valley. The Rev. Robert Meyer will officiate and burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Sheboygan.
Mr. Rieck was born Feb. 20, 1883 in the Town of Meeme, son of the late August and Mary Schmidt Rieck. He married Helen Goeke April 6, 1906. The couple resided on the Rieck Homestead Farm, Town of Meeme. His wife preceded him in death July 11, 1966. He was a member of the St. James United Church of Christ. He was an avid sportsman, going deer hunting until a year ago.
Survivors include four sons, Lester, Wilfred and Norman, of Sheboygan, and Roland, of Newton; two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Wunsch and Mrs. Arlene Beiersdorf, of Sheboygan; a brother, Edmund, of Peshtigo; a sister, Mrs. Edna Reineking, of Sheboygan; 25 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Three sons, three brothers, a sister and two grandchildren preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Stoltenberg Guneral Chapel, Cleveland, after 3 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday and then at the church from noon until the time of service.
