Mrs. John Kraynik, an old resident of the town of Franklin, passed away
at the home of her son, William last Tuesday. She was born in Bohemia and
would have been 74 years old September 26. The funeral was held Thursday
from the Protestant Church at Melnik with interment at the adjoining cemetery.
Rev. Vrancy of Chicago conducted the funeral. She leaves to mourn her loss,
one son, William and three daughters, Mrs. Leo Theison, Mrs. Paul Hoverson,
Mrs. Charles Dedrichs; fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren
also survive.
