Prominent Pinhook Farmer Succumbed At His Home.

Funeral services for William Curtis Clampitt, age 65 years, 4 months and 21 days, prominent farmer of the Pinhook neighborhood, who died at his home Thursday, June 30, 1932, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Pinhook Christian Church and burial will be in the adjoining Pinhook Cemetery.

Mr. Clampitt was born at Heltonville, Lawrence County, Indiana February 10, 1867 to Harvey Marion Clampitt and Rebecca Woody Clampitt. He married Phebe Emmaline Speer on December 5, 1894. To them were born four children, of whom a son Marion Robert "Ethal" Clampitt passed away 3 years ago,on June 4, 1929.

Surviving are the window and three children, Mrs. (Harry) Carrie Alice Clampitt Kern, Mrs. (Wesley) Gretal May Clampitt Richards and Charles Ora (Oma "Blanche" Umphress) Clampitt and eight grand children, one sister and two brothers.

He was a member of Pinhook Christian Church. He was a loving companion and affectionate parent and was highly respected by family, neighbors and friends.
