RIDGEWOOD- Carl Thomas Singlevich, 49, died on June 11.

He was raised in Peapack, N.J., graduated from Bernards High School and had lived in Colorado, California, Hawaii, Alaska, St. Croix and Germany. He returned from Germany to Ridgewood to be with his family during his illness. He attended Teterboro School of Aeronautics and graduated from Redstone College in Broomfield, Colo. He pursued a career as an FAA aircraft and power plant mechanic. His profession sent him on assignments around the world for military and civilian organizations. He was a pilot, motorcyclist, boater, avid snorkeler, skier and surfer.

He is survived by his unmarried partner, Corrie Padilla and the stepchildren, Victoria and Carlos Padilla of San Diego; his mother, Doris Ramshaw Singlevich, of Ridgewood, and father, John Singlevich of Longs, S.C.; his brother, Paul Singlevich and wife Cynthia Sablon and their two sons of Bernardsville; his sister, Kimberly Singlevich Lane and husband Patrick and their two sons of Flagstaff, Ariz.; his aunt, Melissa Singlevich of Ridgewood; his uncle Dr. Thomas Singlevich and aunt Bonita Singlevich of Marco Island, Fla.; his aunt and uncle, Marilyn Adair and George Adair of Upper Saddle River and his cousins David Dimijian and Karen Dimijian Banks.

He will be buried at the Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood. A private interment service will be held in July.
