Mrs. M. Kanzelberger, Pioneer, Dies Friday
Mrs. Mike Kanzelberger, nee Annie Eisenbeis, aged 86, and a pioneer resident of Manitowoc county passed away at her home yesterday, the victim of infirmities attendant upon old age.
Mrs. Kanzelberger, was born in Germany, June 24, 1842. At the age of 26 she immigrated to this country and moved to Manitowoc county upon arrival in the United States. She was married to Mr. Kanzelberger shortly after moving to this country. At that time they moved to the town of Two Rivers where they lived on a farm for thirty-three years. The past twenty-seven years have been spent in this city.
Mrs. Kanzelberger is survived by her husband, seven children, Mrs. John Grunwald of Sheboygan, Mrs. George Bonfigt, Joseph, Michael, Peter and Edward of this city and John of Antigo.
Burial will take place Monday morning from St. Luke's Catholic church.
