He had been the school janitor since the first classes were held in the building in 1923. Mr. Kanzelberger was 65 years of age.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at at 9:30 o'clock from the Klein & Stangel, Inc., funeral home and at 10 a.m. from St. Luke's Catholic church with the Very Rev. Dean C. V. Hugo officiating. Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Kanzelberger was born in the town of Two Rivers Dec. 13, 1874 and spent his entire life in the county. On June 5, 1899 he married Mary Brunner.
As a young man Mr. Kanzelberger took employment in the old Pail factory and later was one of the first employes of Joseph Koenig in the infant aluminum industry.
Later he worked for the Eggers firm and since 1923 had been the janitor at the high school. He was a member of the Holy Name society, the St. Joseph's society and the Catholic Family Protective association.
Survivors are the widow, four daughters, Mrs. Norbert Mac Donald of Two Rivers, Mrs. Frank Schultz of Sheboygan, Mrs. John Mrotek of Butte des Mortes and Mrs. Wilfred Reineman of Kohler; three sons, George and Leo of Two Rivers and Richard of Sheboygan Falls; one sister, Mrs. George Bonfigt of Two Rivers; three brothers, Joseph of Two Rivers, John of Antigo and Edward of Kewaunee and 13 grandchildren.
