EMILY BURGARD

Mrs. John Burgard, 51, of 1906 28th street, Two Rivers, died early today at the Two Rivers Municipal hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Luke's church in Two Rivers with burial in Holy Cross cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Klein and Stangel Inc., funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.

Born Emily Lesperance at Coleman, Wis., in 1895, she came to Two Rivers 35 years ago and was married to Mr. Burgard in 1918. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus auxiliary and the St. Luke's Altar society.

Surviving, in addition to the husband, are two daughters, Miss Beatrice at home and Mrs. Frank Huycke of Manitowoc. One brother, Fred Lesperance of Milwaukee and four sisters, Mrs. Camille Pauze of Manitowoc, Mrs. Sam Skrivanie, Mrs. James Skrivanie and Mrs. Dave Mueller, all of Two Rivers also survive.
