Elmer Carrier, 76, of 1423 School St., Two Rivers, died at his home early Saturday morning. He had been in failing health several months.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, the Rev. George Beth officiating. Burial wil be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Carrier was born at Marinette March 17, 1883, son of the late Emanuel and Rose La Belle Carrier. He married the former Diana Bruneau July 12, 1906, at Marinette. The family moved to Two Rivers in 1924 where he had resided since.
Besides his wife he leaves a son, Harvey of Two Rivers; four sisters, Mrs. Delia Nerbin of Escanaba, Mich., Mrs. Myrtle Walquist of Glenview, Ill., and Mrs. Rose Armstrong and Mrs. Clara Harrington of Florida; a brother, Gilbert of Daggett, Mich., four grandchildren and four great granchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this Monday evening.
