HAROLD CZECHANSKI
Harold Czechanski, 58, of 2120 Emmet St., Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels and 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Robert Rhymer will officiate with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Mr. Czechanski was born Feb. 21, 1918, at Two Rivers, son of the late Joseph and Augusta Wierchek Czechanski. He was graduated from Two Rivers High School with the Class of 1936. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1938 to 1946. He married Elizabeth Griep June 11, 1940, at Hancock, Mich. He was a member of Two Rivers Police Department from 1946 to 1973, retiring as sergeant. He was a member of Two Rivers VFW.
Survivors include his wife, a son (private), two daughters (private), two brothers, Albert and Walter, of Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Donald Davis, of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., and Mrs. Genevieve LeClair, of Two Rivers and two grandchildren. A sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, where a memorial prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
