FUNERAL OF MRS. TILLOTSON.
Was Held Tuesday Afternoon In This City.
The funeral services for Mrs. Ray Tillotson were held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Bishop undertaking parlors. The services were in charge of W. C. Foreman of the Seventhday Adventist church. Following a brief scriptural reading and talk Mr. Foreman offered a prayer and sang a solo. Interment was in the Nevada cemetery immediately afterwards.
Mrs. Tillotson who had been staying in Tama for a short time was taken very seriously ill with appendicitis last week. She was hurried to St. Mary's hospital in Marshalltown where an operation was performed but it was unavailing and she died Saturday. The body was brought to this city Monday afternoon.
The deceased was born at Portland, Oregon, December 27, 1886. She was united in marriage to Ray H. Tillotson June 26, 1920. She leaves besides her husband and five step-children, of Nevada, a father and mother, two brothers and two sisters all of Portland, Ore.
The members of the family will receive the sympathy of their neighbors and friends in their hours of bereavement.
