Melania T. Henrickson

Melania T. Henrickson, age 90, formerly of 2008 Monroe St., Two Rivers, died Monday morning, Sept. 1, 2003 at the Kewaunee Care Center, Kewaunee.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish, Sacred Heart Site, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William G. O'Brien, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Melania was born Dec. 14, 1912 in Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Paul and Johanna (Budnik) Borusky. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School, and was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School. Melania was employed at Sentry Foods in Two Rivers for many years, retiring in 1977. She was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and presently a member of the Ladies of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish. She enjoyed sewing, reading and especially the time spent with her grandchildren. She was also an excellent cook. Melania was married to Owen (Hans) Henrickson in 1935. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1986.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Nancy and Roger Orchekowski, Two Rivers; three sons and daughters-in-laws: Lenny and Yvonne Henrickson, Tom and Jeanine Henrickson, all of Two Rivers; and Philip and Majel Henrickson, Mishicot; 10 grandchildren; Thomas J. Hendrickson, Allan (Jennifer) Henrickson, Brian (Tammy) Hendrickson, Mark Henrickson, Dale (Sherry) Henrickson, David (Claudia) Henrickson, Dr. Michael (Deanna) Orchekowski, Randal (Lynn) Orchekowski, Christopher LeClair, and Nikki Stark; nine great grandchildren. She is further survived by one sister: Evelyn Sauve, Two Rivers; and many nieces fand nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Kathleen Henrickson and Mary Lou LeClair; two brothers: Joseph and Paul Borusky; and two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law.

Friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday (TONIGHT), and after 9 a.m. Thursday until leaving for the church at 9:45 a.m. There will be a parish wake service held this evening at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home, led by Father Bill.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter the Fisherman Parish Building Fund.

The Henrickson family extends a special thank you to the entire staff of the Wisteria Haus, and also the Kewaunee Care Center for their loving care and kindness extended to our dear mother and grandmother, Melania Henrickson.
