Harriet Theobald was born in Duncan's Retreat in Southern Utah. Her family were early settlers in Hinckley Utah. She began her married in life in April 1908 to widower Norman I. Bliss who brought to the marriage 5 sons, Clarence, Clark, Oren, Maitlain and Earl. Norman and Harriet then had 7 children, Stanley, Mary Zelma, Charles Howard, Theone [Bill], Jesse Max, Ferron Lane and George Ingles [Joe} the youngest being a month old when Norman was killed in a farming accident in 1919.

Harriet worked hard to maintain and support her family. She would clerk in the store in town, and as a widow would glean the fields to help support her family. She also did handwork and when she died her panty was well stoked with food she has canned and preserved.

She married John Raymond Lee in 1924 five years after the death of Norman. J.R was a widower who lived near. He already had a very large family. Harriet and J.R. had two sons Leo Lee and Otto Lee. Harriet died in in 1927 from complication following the birth of her youngest son Otto.
