Ann Schelnik, 71, of Wichita Falls passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Lamar Baptist Church with Reverend Tommy Free officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Schelnik was born February 5, 1943 in Sentinel, OK to the late David and Eva (Redin) Hodges. She moved to Wichita Falls at an early age and was a near lifelong resident. She married Jack Schelnick here on November 21, 1961. They were members of West Side Baptist Church and presently members of Lamar Baptist Church. Ann retired from the Finance Department of WFISD in 2005 after 30 years of service.
Survivors are her husband, Jack F. Schelnick; daughter, Tammy Garcia(Joe) of Dean, TX; son, Mike Schelnik of Wichita Falls; brother, Charles Wayne Hodges( Florence); sisters, Lou Whitmire( Alan) and Dena Hutchens(Gary), all of Wichita Falls; 3 grandchildren.
