Served in French & Indian Wars and present at Siege of Louisberg. On return taken ill in Lyme CT and nursed by Rhuamah Matson, whom he married 15 Ja. 1757/8 in Saybrook - at least 2 children. Was one o first to be buried in Upper Cemetery. She died 20 September 1820 age 92. Is she buried there too?
