EDW. EVERSON DIES SUDDENLY
Sixty-Three-Year-Old Resident Stricken on Sidewalk

Funeral services for Edward J. Everson, 63, 2222 Jackson street, who died suddenly of a heart attack in front of the home of a son Monday, will be held in the Klein and Stangel chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. C.V. Hugo will officiate. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home.

Born on May 13, 1871 at Whitehall, Wis., Mr. Everson worked as a mason contractor at Phillips, Wis. Later he entered the contracting business in Chicago and was a foreman of a crew erecting the Stevens hotel. He came to this city in 1929 and retired a year later.

In 1895 he was married to Mary Collins of Phillips, who survives him with four sons, Lawrence E. and Julius P. of this city, Ervin of Duluth, and Elmer of Chicago, and a daughter, Miss Marie Everson at home. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Caroline Nelson of York, Wis.; and four brothers, Charles, Oscar, Harry and George of Whitehall.
