Mary Ann Mand, 84, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital.

She was born May 6, 1930 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Dominic and Celine Archambault O'Keefe. Mary Ann received her bachelor of music from Alverno College in Milwaukee.

On July 18, 1970 she married Raymond W. Mand at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Peter. Mary Ann taught music to elementary and junior high school students in Milwaukee and Fond du Lac. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. Mary Ann played organ for the parish and St. Francis Home and enjoyed playing piano at area nursing homes. She was an active hospice volunteer and adult literacy tutor. She was a member of the Red Hat Honey's Chorus, Knight of Columbus Auxiliary, and St. Peter's Altar and Rosary Society.

Mary Ann enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, playing cards, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Mand; one son, Joseph (Pam Mueller) Mand, Fond ud Lac; three grandchildren, Jackson, Carter and Elijah; two nieces, Kathleen (Robert) Milinski and Maureen O'Keefe, both of West Bend. She is further survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Esther Mand, Leo and Irene Mand all of Fond du Lac, Genevieve Kopplin, Watertown, Silverius and Marie Mand, Marie and Wilfred Abler, and Virginia Schneider, all of St. Peter; many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dominic and Celine O'Keefe; her mother and father-in-law, Peter and Elizabeth Mand; two brothers, George O'Keefe and Dennis O'Keefe; sisters and brothers-in-law, Josephine O'Keefe, Alois and Lydia Mand, Florence and Alex Michels, Ambrose and Agnes Mand, Emil Kopplin, Alfred Mand, and Adolph Schneider.

The visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Wednesday at church.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at St. Peter's Church, Holy Family Parish.

Entombment will take place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
