PAULINE GAJDYS
Mrs. Pauline Gajdys, 77, of 1712-20th St., Two Rivers, died early Friday morning at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. Joseph Gabryszek officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
The former Pauline Markiewicz was born July 5, 1884 , in Poland, daughter of the late Carl and Christina Tulkiewicz Markiewicz. She immigrated to this country in 1907, going to New York, N.Y. She was married Feb. 9, 1909, to Thomas Gajdys at Jersey City, N.J. The couple moved to Two Rivers the same year. Her husband died at Two Rivers Feb. 28, 1923. She was a member of the Rosary Sodality of Sacred Heart Parish.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Milton Tess and Mrs. Lester Reis, of Two Rivers; two sons, Vincent, of Two Rivers and Stanley, of West Allis; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
