Mrs. Catherine Gallenberger, 80, formerly of this city, who has been residing with her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Lehman, of route 2, Two Rivers for four years,died Thursday in the Two Rivers Municipal hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke’s church, Two Rivers. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Klein and Stangel Inc., funeral home, Two Rivers, where the rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock tonight.

Born Catherine Krcmar on her parents’ farm in the town of Cooperstown in 1866, the deceased was married to John Gallenberger in 1886 at Kewaunee. The couple settled on a farm near Antigo where they remained for 10 years before returning to Kewaunee. Thirty years ago they moved to Manitowoc where they made their home until Mr. Gallenberger’s death in 1942. Mrs. Gallenberger then moved to her daughter’s home on route 2, Two Rivers.

She is survived by five sons, John of Kewaunee and William, Joseph, Walter and Raymond all of Manitowoc, and one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Lehman. There are 29 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A brother, Matt Krcmar of Antigo, also surives.
