Patrick J. Gates, age 43, a resident of Milwaukee, died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 28, 2000, in Milwaukee.
Private Funeral Services were held Thursday, November 30, 2000, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. William G. O'Brien officiated at the service with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Patrick was born August 9, 1957, son of Alfred and Marie Gates. He attended St. Luke Parochial School and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Oneida. Patrick then furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin, Manitowoc. He studied one semester in London and earned his Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He also served with the United States Army for a short period of time. At the present time, Patrick was employed with Milwaukee County as a Social Worker.
Survivors include his parents, Alfred and Marie Gates, Two Rivers; one sister, Vicki Hrdina, rural Manitowoc; two nieces, Jennifer and Jessica Hrdina. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
The Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers assisted the family with arrangements.
