Funeral services for August Glandt, 77, of 1804-12th St., Two Rivers, who died at noon Monday at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks, will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and a 9 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. Edward Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Born in the Town of Carlton Nov. 12, 1880, a son of the late Fred and Emily Radtke Glandt, Mr. Glandt was brought to Two Rivers by the family at the age of 12. He was an employe of the Hamilton Mfg. Co., Two Rivers, for 30 years, engaged as a cabinet worker. He retired in 1952. He was a member of St. Mark Holy Name Society Catholic Order of Foresters and the Hamilton “30-Year Club.”

Besides his wife, the former ___ ___, whom he married in Two Rivers, July 26, 1910, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Louis Pahl of Oconto and Mrs. Edward Singer and Mrs. John Mecikalski of Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Behrendt of Two Rivers, Mrs. Minnie Loomis of Hebron, Ind., and Mrs. Gussie Holden of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, William of Two Rivers and Christian of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o’clock this Tuesday evening where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
