John (Jack) F. Goedjen, 74, died late Friday afternoon, Jan. 2, at Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers. The Rev. John Neuser will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mr. Goedjen was born Aug. 12, 1906, at Two Rivers, son of the late John and Minnie Schwake Goedjen. He attended Two Rivers public and high schools. He was a meat cutter by trade and for a number of years as a diesel engineer on Great Lakes Boats. He married Laura Becker Feb. 25, 1929, at Two Rivers. She preceded him in death in 1944.

Survivors include a son, John E. Goedjen of Two Rivers; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Allen Engelland of Allouez; two brothers, Gerald of Grand Junction, Colo., and Alvin of Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. Arlen O'Toole of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mrs. Dorothy Lintereur of Two Rivers, and Mrs. Edward (Katherine) Sinkular of Grafton, Wis., 10 grandchildren and a great grandchild. A daughter, Ruth Ann Mueller, preceded him in death.
