Pepper was a cute little puppy adopted from the humane society for Josh for his birthday. But as Josh got older he moved out and Pepper stayed behind with Ray and Kayla.
One night Ray let Pepper out to go potty and went out a few minutes later to bring her in and found her laying in the driveway dead. She had started to swell up. He called us and was so upset, He loved that dog as did Kayla. Kayla was out of town and he wanted to wait for her to come home, but we told him that with the heat she would swell and explode. So he brought her to our home and she was buried in the orchard with other animals that had died over the years. Including two baby lambs, a cat and a gerbil. It was a very sad time and Pepper will never be forgotten.
