BREMEN Deborah L. Fesmire, 63 of Bremen, passed away at the Maine Medical Center in Portland after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Abington, PA on November 29, 1950, she was the daughter of William and Aileen (Coyle) Schieber.

Debbie grew up in Pennsylvania and attended local schools there. She graduated from Council Rock High School and later attended Penn Hall Junior College where she studied art. She would later marry her high school sweetheart, Chester Fesmire, Jr.

Chester and Debbie moved to New Hampshire in 1979, where they owned and operated a shop selling collectibles, Chester¡¯s woodwork, and Debbie¡¯s beautiful stained glass pieces. She also worked as a personal caregiver, and continued that path when they moved to Bremen in 1996.

She was very artistic, and particularly enjoyed creating wonderful works of stained glass. She also enjoyed talking on the phone, and loved tending to her beautiful gardens.

Deborah was predeceased by her daughter, Christiana Fesmire in 2011.

She is survived by her husband, Chester Fesmire, Jr.; two sons, Andrew and Nick Fesmire; one daughter, Katrin Fesmire; her parents, William and Aileen Schieber; one grandson, Adam Fesmire; two brothers, Mark and Tim Schieber; a sister, Jessica Blackburn; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She will be laid to rest privately in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Round Pond. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Miles Home Health & Hospice, ¨G Development Office, 35 Miles Street, Damariscotta, ME 04543.
