She was a graduate of Academy High School and worked for the Millcreek School District in the cafeteria at Ridgefield School for many years. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, knitting and crafts.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Elmer P. Baumgardner, two sisters: Thelma Ruhl and Clara McIntyre; two brothers: George and Kenneth Vogel.
She is survived by two daughters: Carol Arndt and Debbie Hardner and her husband Gregory; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial in Erie Cemetery.
