Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 11 at 11 a.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home Chapel in West Point with the Revs. Billy Short and Fitz Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett.
Mrs. Lott is survived by her husband, Richard Lott of West Point; her daughter, Karen (Ricky) Nixon of LaGrange; three grandchildren, Krystal Nixon, Matthew Nixon and Nickolas Nixon, all of LaGrange; two sisters, Thelma Gooden of LaFayette and Irma Black of West Point; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Born March 18, 1932 in Chambers County, Mrs. Lott was a homemaker and had been active in Long Cane Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Lois Duffey Gunn and Alver T. Gunn.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 10 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home.
