Lawrence L. Elmer Age 77 of Town of Rhine
Passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning (January 14) at his home. He was born on May 15, 1932 in Plymouth, Wisconsin. He was raised by his Grandparents, Albert and Mary Elmer and his Aunt Hazel.
He attended Plymouth Grade Schools and Plymouth High School.
On June 16, 1951 he married Viola Werner in Sheboygan Wisconsin. The couple has resided in the Town of Rhine all their married life.
Dad was an entrepreneur and wore many hats in the business world, along with helping his wife farm.
He enjoyed going to auctions and finding the "Deal of the Day.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years: Viola of Town of Rhine 6 Children: David (Lynn) Elmer of Plymouth, WI Mary (Michael) Klahn of Plymouth, WI Robert (Ellie) Elmer of Green Bay, WI Sandra (Greg) Hildebrand of Plymouth, WI Joseph Elmer (Special friend: Kelly Dart) of Elkhart Lake, WI Catharine Gorr of Sheboygan, WI 12 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He is also survived by other extended family in Indiana, Michigan, New York and Milwaukee.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy. Following Lawrence's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or viewing. A memorial fund is being established in his name. The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Plymouth is serving his family.
