A few years later Harry and family made their journey across the Pacific Ocean to California, where eventually most of his childhood and adult life would be played out. His humble beginnings kicked off in the Naval Housing Projects in Wilmington, California to Torrance, CA and eventually Carson, CA. Brother Harrys education began at 223rd Elementary to Flemming Middle School, then to Carnegie Middle School. He then attended Phineas Banning H.S., in Wilmington, California. Afterwards, Harry enlisted into the USMC out of Camp Pendleton (Oceanside, California), in which he did a short stint for Uncle Sam. A few years later Harry met and married Mavis Supaia and gave birth to two loving children, Amanda H. Tuputausi Alo and Alexander Kipeni Alo. Harry changed his residency one last time to Anchorage, Alaska, where his younger sister and family would be caring for him because of his deteriorating health. In short, for many of family and friends that knew brother Harry, knew he wasn't much for words. He kept his emotions and thoughts inside. He was the person that drew laughter and joy from everyone. His infectious humor always lit up every room. Big Harry, Hockey Puck known to so many, will forever be missed but never forgotten. Have a safe journey to your heavenly home dear brother.
